This is a prestigious venture of Labour India Educational Research Centre. It will, on completion, become a pilgrim centre for the knowledge-thirsty. It will provide facilities for students, teachers and parents to reside in the centre and conduct a variety of scientific activities with the help of experts. The centre will give emphasis to learning with a practical approach. It will develop and nourish scientific temperament in the student community and make them interested in innovative thinking, constant research and investigative mentality. The centre will be home to a sophisticated laboratory, an exhaustive library and state-of-the-art workshops.
The centre will also provide facilities for teachers to experiment on low-cost or no-cost learning aids and modern learning methodologies
Science and Technology Centre
This centre will reflect the advances in science and technology, and function as a science and technology museum and laboratory. The centre will highlight the history of the growth of science and technology using models, charts, fun centres, workshops, video film display centres and so on. It will consist of a permanent film division, mobile exhibition kits, workshops, activity centres, etc. A construction division of models also will also be a part of the centre. The centre will give due recognition to humanities as well. It will also house a planetarium.
As a Community Development Centre under Knowledge Valley, it will incorporate education, science and technology capabilities as well as information technology. The centre will take up all the activities required to achieve that aim. It is expected to become a research, information and training centre of global standards. We hope it will be a Modern Temple of learning, transmitting knowledge far and wide.
